“Nailed it!”
That’s what organizers of a Reformation anniversary series hope to say by the time they end a July 5-26 event at St. Paul Lutheran Church, at 2136 Brady St., Davenport.
Sessions will be held from noon to 1 p.m. every Wednesday this month. For more information, contact Ann McGlynn at ann@stpaulqc.org or 563-326-3547.
It will help mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation to be celebrated this fall around the world.
Eight different staff members will take turns presenting, “so there will be a good variety,” faith formation director Ryan Bailey said.
Mr. Bailey was trained in the American Baptist tradition and is being ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Sessions will provide a framework of Luther’s life, time spent in a monastery and events leading to the Reformation.
