In this quasi-historical comedy, set at Wittenberg University in 1517, archrival professors Martin Luther (yes, that Dr. Luther) and John Faustus (yes, that Dr. Faustus) are engaged in a battle of wits, faith, and lute playing. At stake is the Reformation of the Church and the soul of their prized but confused student, Hamlet (yes, that Hamlet).
